Butterflies at Bayfield Lavender Farm

Every time I see a butterfly of any kind, I get a deep thrill. Every time I see a Monarch, I feel elated and relieved. The milkweed that grows here gets priority, even if it pops up in strange and awkward spots - it will never get yanked out. My goal since starting this farm has been to surround the space with as much habitat and food sources as possible. Each Fall and Spring, we spread more and more seeds with the hope of providing some safe haven for the wildlife. So excited to watch it all work.
